How long have all of you been treasure hunting? Also, have you found any good treasures?

RMG1976, thanks for your efforts, and for hiking to the location of the bat cave, and for today. And for everyone else, with their knowledge and input. (I'm a newbie, and new to treasure hunting). I watched all 6 episodes, and (originally) liked the show. It is nice to see these revelations, and to know the show has a lot (if not all) fake stuff in it. It seems this show has nothing really to do with reality, in reference to the LDM hunt? And is just a "show"?

I've just got back home. Uploading all the "footage" from my camera now. Plan is to put a collection of still images and video into a 15-ish minute long video presentation and then I'll post it to YouTube. I'll also start a new thread here so I don't keep derailing this one.

P.S. I know from my bat cave expedition, folks were telling me to be careful, go prepared etc. I go out with a group of 5guys, including me, one of which is my brother whom is an Army Sniper home for a few weeks and brings his beautiful AR-15.

We've had rain the past few days, so probably some time mid next week. No slip & slides for me!

@Hank My first trip to the bat cave was purely exploratory to check out to see if a drone would be okay to use in that area. I don't really have much to add about that trip outside of the lengthy post that I have already made a few days ago. However, it is my intention to go out again with the camera in hand to do exactly what you are asking.

They've spent the majority of their lives from the comfort of their arm chairs reading dime store novels, trying to decipher artistically drawn stone maps, analyzing Google Earth photos looking for every shadow or carved up rock that might provide them a clue... and then you come along and start busting all their dreams and fantasies wide open by actually going out there and taking videos and photos of what they've seen on TV, or read about in their dime store novels! What are you... some kind of fricking monster?

I know he severed my dream right out from under me. I was hoping I could find that mine myself but now that he's shown me the whole show was fiction made for the big screen I'll never believe another TV show again! It looked so real! I thought this is it they found it! But alas I was duped again just like that dang show Honey Boo Boo!

It's all in good fun he's just using still shots from the show. That spot is so deep in the Supers no one could get there that easy no one! So all you readers just relax he's just doing the after the show show.

In reality he works for GOGO YUCKY an affiliate of the other production company.
