new show on the dutchman

Sure, if your contention is that they only 'just' discovered the richest mine of all at the very end of their efforts and decided to pack up and leave rather than mine it. Sure.

Very good CN !
And it's pretty close to what was said to have happened.
Except that it was the deteriorating situation with the natives which left them no other choice but to pack up and get out.
I've also expressed my contention that the LDM saga actually references two mines...the first being the one which Waltz/Weiser and Peralta initially worked, and where Weiser was later attacked and wounded while Waltz was absent...and the second being the "richest" deposit/mine where he had found the three "indians"---OOPS---Mexicans mining. But I won't get any further into that within this thread, unless something in the show provides additional evidence IMO.

Speaking of evidence, why don't you provide some? You make claims, but back it up with nothing! You must be right, and what you claim must be true because you spew on the interwebs?

I have no gripe with anyone putting out what they clearly claim is merely speculation. there is a tool for the others

Sometimes you just can't provide evidence, its the treasure hunter inside of us all. I could surely provide a lot more then I'm willing to share and a nice silver blob I melted down and a nice gold Dora bar of gold. But if you choose not to believe that's fine I'm good with that. Matter of fact I know I've found more gold in there then the sarg. Also found gems in there. Not the best but gems they are.

I hate to have to ask, but what is the reference/original source? What exactly is claimed to have been said (hearsay anyway) and who makes that claim in what documentation?

There were many recorded, even tape recorded, interviews with both Julia and Rhiney. Julia, Rhiney, Dick Holmes and George Roberts all spoke to Waltz about the mine, personally. Our information to date is based on their stories. There is also the Gold ore, taken from under his death bed, and unique to any other mine known locally in AZ.

Reading the the book written by Sims Ely would do you well. He interviewed both Julia and Rhiney many times not long after Waltzs death. Jim Bark was his partner. They hunted the mine for decades. Sims Ely was an esteemed member of society, he oversaw the construction of the Hoover Dam. Hope that helps.

Sorry CN, but your rant doesn't really add much credibility to your own argument, not to mention it's being way off topic.
Might help though, if you could explain the function of your "tool". :icon_scratch:

Do you use it for introspection ?

In post 57 Mike put out there
Joe, CN,

Except for the fact that Jake described his gold in detail (18" wide seam of rose and white quartz shot through with gold and (if I remember correctly) an 8" wide seam of soft tuffa with visible gold). I agree that all nuggets and fines start as ore. The biggest problem (as I have said many times) is that most of the Supers are covered in a 40 or so foot deep layer of volcanic tuffa, which covers all the gold seams.

In case you missed it, that is how we all got to here, and still I await evidence.

Did you claim Jake was tape recorded?

You're not comprehending what you are reading. I will not argue with you. Read what I've said again.

i have been seeing a comercial and saw it again, its advertising on the history channel. shows gold from under waltz bed and some guys going after it in a helicopter with a heart map. i only caught the end. looks interesting and wondering if anyone else seen this?

john

Really looking forward to the Show :occasion14:

ConceptualizedNetherlandr please end the insults and post by our rules now...

"LOL !! Assuming any truth at all to any of it, what would stop this hoard of miners from doing what jake supposedly did single handed??"

Wazzat...a trick question ?

The MASSACRE stopped them....ROTFLMAO !!

The men were gone for two years, left their camp in the 3rd month, got to the mine, mined their first horde after 18 months, returned to VA, planted the horde, returned for another 7 months to the mine, and then returned to VA with their second stash

When they returned to the Superstitions for their third time, they were massacred

How many times have these numbers been seen on this website and nobody here has seen a single hint of the similarity

SAME NUMBERS and DATES, SAME SCAM LAND GRAB, SAME AMOUNT OF MEN.......30 men mining, 30 men found deadView attachment 1116052

The small "starting point" is the cross, which is a grave near the Cemetery, by a river.

The Beale Codes are a descriptive text to use these stones to find the old Peralta Mines, BUT

they also were crafted to carry another coded signature that has BEEN BLOWN WIDE OPEN

Eldo you need the map that was used as a reference to carve the map stones. You only have 2/3 of the info. That and half the story. You ever find a piece of that gold we can compare samples. That would be interesting. We have mutual friends and I'm always open minded.

The insults are getting old, if need be can start giving timeouts.

Example ....calling a member a troll is an insult, implying someone can't read or comprehend is an insult...

It wasn't me this time, I've learned my lesson! Shame on them, I've never! Besides I've been in timeout since I was little. Well enough of the brown nosing, Send them all to the Rubber Room!

Thanks Frank
I just sent an e-mail to Fox News Corp. along with a link to the article.
So maybe they will also help to spread the news.

I don't know Eldo. I for one can't see any connections between the stones and the Beale papers, and I doubt they will be part of the show anyway.
The timelines are way off, Santa Fe is a long way from the Sups ( unless you think the stones apply to someplace north of Santa Fe ), and the Massacre story, as handed down by the Peralta descendants, involves far more than 30 casualties. I don't think the Wm. Edwards tale mentions how many skeletons were found. There is also nothing, so far as I know, in the original Beale story, which speaks of a massacre. And with the Beale cyphers being made up of numbers from 1-984 ? , it's far too easy to find the relatively few numbers used on the stones.
