It was almost 70 today so I decided to try and find a new site to hunt, after speaking to the farmer and getting the go ahead I drove out to where I thought the house once stood, after parking I stepped out of my truck and into the field i immediately started getting iron tones. This was a large site and I put in about 3 hours of swinging before I hit silver and a few minutes later I found the large cent, this has to be the 10th or 12th 1853 largie that I've found over the years!

Well done on the silver and the copper.
Interesting relics as well.

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Don’t have to reveal anything you don’t want to but i assume you’re hunting somewhere near the east coast?… I don’t have high hopes of getting much older than 1850 here in Kansas it was Indian territory till 58 i believe. I’d love to have a decent shot at stuff like that
