It was almost 70 today so I decided to try and find a new site to hunt, after speaking to the farmer and getting the go ahead I drove out to where I thought the house once stood, after parking I stepped out of my truck and into the field i immediately started getting iron tones. This was a large site and I put in about 3 hours of swinging before I hit silver and a few minutes later I found the large cent, this has to be the 10th or 12th 1853 largie that I've found over the years!

Great day of digging, I'm sure you'll be going back.
