Just saw the new Pathfinder by Tim Williams at lrlman.com I have one of his older units called the Image Tracker. I adapted it to be used with an electronic receiver. Same with EFNMR2015. So I highly suspect this unit could also be adapted for electronic receiver.
There is a YouTube video on LRLMAN channel.

I like Tim’s equipment. I spent many years working on the Contraption with an electronic receiver. Once I got access to a EFNMR2015 I shelved the Contraption. It’s done, but the electronic receiver still lives. The Contraption had up to 630 volts, kinda dangerous. I know enough about human nature somebody would sooner or later get zapped. Output on th EFNMR2015 is like 2.4 volts,—much more comfortable feeling. In the video Yim said the PathFinder had the same system as the EFNMR2015. Of course voltage is no the only factor in signal strength. The EFNMR has a strong signal even in the low power setting.

I don’t know the price on the PathFinderLRL

Interesting, I wish I understood it better! Why use a receiver? To make it handheld? Is it a portable unit, and are you using it for audio?

Why use a receiver? Because it takes out the wishful thinking that is suspect in many L-rod hits. You stay at the transmitter so you don’t have to walk out in the brush or uneven ground or in windy conditions.

The electronic receiver is not a “handheld” locator. You have to be near the transmitter and the transmitter has to be running for a few minutes in a stable position. But you do have to hold the receiver and scan the area. Yes, there is an audio response when you aim the receiver at the target.

Note: I have not seen this PathFinder, I am only going by what the video says that it is basically the same circuits as the EFNMR2015. You also have to hook up equipment to the transmitter, it’s not just an electronic receiver.

I watched the video. What is this gadget supposed to do? The video doesn't explain anything.

Is this some kind of dowsing tool?
