I have managed to wear out another set of headphones for my Excalibur.
Anyone know where I can get a new set of Grey Ghost with the volume knob ?
These are more comfortable that the stock Minelab yellow ones.
Usually I get everything via Kellyco but they don't stock these anymore for some reason.
Please correct me if I am wrong about that.
Thanks in advance for any help here.

i've had bad luck with the GG's. Eisenhower makes the best headphones by far. That's my honest opinion

I read that they stopped making Grey Ghost headphones with the volume knob. That is the component that failed the most, due to corrosion.

Why not fix them yourself, head phones are the easiest things to repair, improve or make. Parts to repair are easily obtained.

Tony repairs them, upgrades them, and makes his own. I have several of them for all sorts of detectors, including 3 different Excal headphone upgrades. Highly recommended.

I have had no problem with the knob, just the wires breaking.

I just had Tony replace the cable on a set of stock Excal headphones. He had upgraded the speakers a few years ago. Many of the stock Minelab detectors had/have issues with bad outer sheaths on the coil and speaker cables. It's important to have them sealed up properly if you plan on being in the water.

Thank you! I still use them myself, no longer sell them. They do make a big difference on the Excaliburs and Sovereigns. I can take others hunting with me and they use other HP's.. they can't hear what I do in Allmetal with the excal, and my hearing is not the best.

ZigZag, was it you that sent me a set of HP's you made and I tested them...? They were screamers too..
The DB rating was right there with mine..114, Tonys was 93, the GGA's were 91.. The stock yellows were 85.

I do think Tony makes the best set out there now, they are loud, clean and very comfortable.

Thank you everyone for the recommendations. I reached out to Tony, he got back to me right away. He is setting me up with a new pair.

After wearing Tony’s headphones for 5 hours water hunting yesterday I rate them an 11. More comfortable than the stock or GG and while normally running the volume as loud as possible had to turn it down to half.
Wish I knew about these sooner.
