Welcome.. Also from New York. Haven't been out detecting though, I do a bit of prospecting and am looking forward to finding a place to try out my Discovery 1100 .

I am digging in Tioga County, NY on a former stagecoach trail. So far I've dug a s/coach wheel wrench. Right now I have a good solid hit on something silver. Very hard digging-lots of rock and ground water. I'm confident though.
