I am interested on the training of pigeons. I hope he keeps us posted. I am also interested on whether or not birds use to be dinosaurs?

The usual way to train homing pigeons is to attach a capsule to one leg or hang it around their neck. Then you take the bird on a ride not far from the house. Then let the bird out and tell him to go home. Make sure the bird understands you are not kicking him out of the car cause you are angry or disappointed in him.
The important detail is put your address on a piece of paper in the capsule so the pidgeon can refer to it.
Many amateurs forget this extremely important part and the pidgeon has to stop and ask for directions at farmhouses or gas stations. Bad penmanship can also hamper the bird's progress.

Very interesting. I would hope they would have enough sense not to stop and ask a cat for directions? I feel that would end poorly for the pigeon.
