A simple crusher can be made from an eighteen inch length of 4" iron pipe, a digging bar and some 3/4" scrap steel. Cut a piece of the 3/4 inch stock to 12" X 12" and center the pipe on it. Weld the two pieces together. Cut and grind a circle shaped piece that will just fit inside the pipe and weld it to the end of the digging bar. On the opposite end of the digging bar, grind it flat so you have a smaller end that's good and solid. Use the small end to do your rough crushing and the wide end to do your fine crushing. (NOTE: The smaller end will keep the force concentrated and will actually bust up your ore pretty quickly.)
