Need Help Iding this Washer Thingy

Please bear with my I'm newly addicted to this Hobby called Metal Detecting. Found this yesterday and thought it was a washer at first but the line down the middle of it stumps me. Anybody got a clue on this. Thanks!

I have never found these in pre-1880s sites. In fact, we have not found one of these items in the last year and a half, and we have hunted close to 150 different 1800's sites.

The ID is incorrect on the website listed below (and above in the replies). It isn't the first time such a thing has happened... :-\ But I do think we have a duty to promote Correct information. I would hate for someone to pay 5 bucks for a curtain weight.
