NEED HELP IDing BULLET!!!

hey guys i found this bullet on my first time out MDing i know its slightly old cause i am a gun guy and i do know modern bullets mushroom when shot even if they dont hit anything. i found it in north central wv region fairmont wv to be exact. this find has caught my intrest with my new hobby MDing.i had some free time at work and had my gf send me the pics of them and but i cant seem to find anything on it so i shall turn to you guys for your input and help Thanks!

Monty no hard feeling on my end by no means and by no means am I a expert on guns but I will say I know more then the average person lol and I'm gonna keep working in trying to figure it out and when i do I'll be sure to let you guys know thanks for all the help

jvance, given that diameter, you might have a .405 Winchester slug. The weight seems a bit low, but that could be from corrosion.

NOLA thanks for your input ill definatly have to look into that. but it looks to narrow to be a slug. oh well the search continues i suppose lol

well by slug I mean bullet. although it's about the same size as a .410

Nola you were exactly right! Had it taken to a gunshop and spent sometime talking to some older gentlemen and after examining it and checking weight and diameter they also said a .405 Winchester mag. Model 95. Sorry it took so long to get back to ya guys.
