I have a few coins and a ring that I need identifiaction with. They were originally found around the North-Western India/Pakistan region.
The coins are all metal, the ring is some sort of stone.

I don't have any particular knowledge about them, but I'll try my best to help with any questions you might have. All coins are the same size or smaller than a UK pound coins.
Thanks.

The 3rd and 4th picture is an Alexander III Tetradrachm from Macedonia probably 2nd or 3rd century BC to the best of my knowledge although you will need weights and measurements to confirm exactly. The other coins look Greek as well. No idea on the ring.

I know a little bit about the coins of the Roman Republic but my knowledge of Greek coinage is pretty sparse and my ID on that Alexander coin could be off by a small margin.

I would start looking here http://www.wildwinds.com/ that is probably the best resource for IDing ancients

Thank you for your reply.
The closest match to the 2nd coin I found from the resource you provided is this one http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/sg/sg4765.html

The weights of the coins are: 10 grams for the first one (2.4 cm across at the widest point), 11 grams for the second one (2.4 cm across), 7 grams for the third coin (2 cm by 1.7 cm) and the 11 grams for the ring.
Thanks again.

That's exactly what it seems to be. Thank you.
The third coin seems to be a fairly weathered Tetradrachm - Vasudeva I or II. The COININDIA Coin Galleries: Kushan: Vasudeva

As for the ring, it is a perfect fit for my index finger, so it could always be possible it was a finger ring as opposed to a thumb ring?
