Congrats. Looks like a .69 3 ringer? In last pic, is the top left carved or chewed? Also, what is the “flower on a stalk” looking item in top right of second pic?
Yes it is a .69 cal 3 ringer. It's a enfield that a rodent chewed. It's whats left of a carved bullet. I've found one other one at the same camp.

I found these last Sunday & yesterday. Both are Gettysburg campaign.
Looks ? Like more of a Union area but still 'Quality Finds ' IMO .

How deep are most Minnies ? 'If you don't mind ' .

To add to an earlier post ( about the Button I recently dug ) . It turned out to be a Tin Back 'I' . The face looks pretty Good just a small 'push' on the left of the "I' . It is a bit different than the other Tin Backs I have dug , ( Not a ST or Saff as I had hoped ) but I will take any Confederate button ANY DAY . Went back to that site last Sunday for 6 hours & got a .36 cal ball , small Camp Lead , a fired 54 or 58 ball & a Flat Fired 3 ringer , ( looked like an Acorn C B at first ) . Glad I got something . + Got in better shape physically than just a Month ago . Even that makes my outing worth it .

The most abundant thing was those Evasive ' Danjango ' Spiders as I call them . LOL They were everywhere .
Oh I figured out how to get back on FB , & love seeing the more local digs & other CW finds .

Have more luck / Skill in the rest of the Detecting Season ,

Peace out Buddy .

That's cool. Any Confederate relic is nice especially a button. The area that the first little batch is all Yankee. The second group is a mixed bag. It was camped on by both sides & a battle went on inbetween camps. I find bullets down to 12" with the setup I'm using right now. Maybe a little deeper in low emi areas. That's in the ground depth. Most are 8" to 9" usually. Out of reach of any vlf. If the ground is hot a vlf can't detect a bullet past a few inches. A gpx will overload on it at that depth. Spiders don't bother me but snakes do lol. Thanks buddy.
