Hello! I recently purchased a claim in northern Colorado and I found this late in the season. Most of the stuff I find is hematoid (ferruginous) quartz crystals, and this is no different, but this thing is so unique and special I can't find any similar examples online. From what I read, it's not a true "scepter" because the plains of the second generation crystal don't align with the planes of the first generation crystal. So what is it then?! It's double-terminates on an angle and obviously awesome, but how rare is something like this?

Does anyone have any thoughts, comments, estimates of value, etc??

FYI I've been calling it the Lombardi, because it looks like the Super Bowl Trophy

Reminds me of an art project I did in high-school. Neat piece you have.

I can't say how rare but I have one myself. A friend here told me it was rare.
I have recently moved to where we are now and still unpacking things.
I am going to hunt it out over the next week and hopefully post it.
Great find 👍👍
Actually I just asked my misses where it is, she said here!
But is yours the full picture double end and the base bit as well, if so iv never seen anything like it. If yours is the full lot then that is crazy good.
This is mine, double ended. Iv never cleaned it, as It was found and washed with water. Taken with a beer bottle top for size example.
