My friends...""The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Théoden King."

Théoden King: "Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this?"

I've noticed that 2nd amendment discussion has died. The sword of Damocles is indiscriminate as it falls. We have been silenced, paranoia reigns. Are there any left who will discuss compromise? Or do we pray the Senate and Obama fail; in order to avoid a civil war and river of blood the likes of this earth has never seen?

Respectfully,

Crispin

I heard on radio today that the senate is dropping the proposed assault weapon ban.

I have shifted my focus on contacting reps senators and anyone else that has a vote ............well you get my point.
these debates here almost seem useless. Some just refuse to understand. Very few seem to care enough to contact anyone, would rather piss and moan on different points of views. Debate class is king over, for me if it involves progressives.
You think fienstinks bill sucks? Check out hr 437!
The spineless uninformed doom us.

No, Im here for treasure. The title of your thread was misleading to me. Since I had to suffer through yet another hate the govt because my life sucks thread, I will answer. No. LOL.

The spineless uninformed doom us.

meaning to say, what greater treasure on earth, is there than freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
Am I to cause you the pain of suffrage because I ask you to consider certain views? To consider that the people
who framed our constitution worded that document to preserve our rights rather than grant us said rights?
Is this suffrage?
Am I to suffer uninformed peoples voting without knowledge, or understanding or anymore gumption to learn anything
other than what they tell you on fing t.v.?

Nothing has died, and I personally am still as active as ever. I am still actively recruiting new members for the NRA..... I am still contacting my senators about the gun laws..... I am still fighting to preserve our 2nd amendment rights as well as the other rights under attack......

Truth be known I think some of the Liberals did us a favor, NRA membership has swelled to new numbers, it awoke a lot of people up to the fact many of the Democrats/Liberals are still wanting to destroy the 2nd amendment the first chance they get.... I see it like the opening days of WWII, and a statement attributed to Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto after Pearl Harbor attack, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a . sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." We were the sleeping giant, we were awaken and we now have a terrible resolve, we will give no more ground..... I personally am totally against any further compromises on the 2nd Amendment or any amendments in our Bill of Rights......:BangHead:

They have forever changed how a great many of us will vote the rest of our lives, and what we will demand in a candidate. If they are not an outspoken proponent of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights they will not get our votes ever.........I am a gun owner and I am a voter, attack the 2nd amendment or our Bill of Rights and you will never ever get my vote.

I have also learned we have some promising new blood and hope coming up in the conservative party, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are all young Republicans to watch in the years to come.....

I also just bought another pistol, a nice Springfield XD-45 ACP semi-automatic pistol, gentleman was selling it to raise money for a down payment on a truck.... Got the 45 pistol, 150 rounds of FMJ, 50 rounds of hollow points and 2 extra 14 shoot ammo clips for $500....:icon_thumright:

I feel likewise, the same, and otherwise concur. you treasure hunter, you have helped me become more
involved. thank you.

Not to mention,Red,Dies,as well as others.........

gun salesman of the year.webp No compromise.

Not sure if comment directed at my buying the pistol, but it was a legal sell and buy.....

man, it's a shame a man has to sell something in order to buy a pickup truck.

It was not his only gun, it was one of several he owned..........

Crispin, although a few may be taking an active role in the overall 2nd amendment debacle, the majority are just crying in their beers :laughing7:

I'm just waiting for Bud Light to make this into "a real men of genius", commercial :laughing9:

NO COMPROMISE, EVER!

Second Amendment says what it says for a reason.

Compromise would be like putting a gelding out to stud. No matter how good that horse is, you ain't getting any foals.

Compromise would be surrender.
