My first Half Cent!

Found my first half cent today. An 1808 draped bust. Not perfect but not bad for 200 years in the ground. Pics are after a short soak. I think it will get a little better. Thanks for looking.

Found with my F75 in all metal at 10 inches. Only keeper found in this "new" spot.

Man "O" Man, what a way to start on the half cents.

You are lucky to live in Virginia, I have only found two

half cents here in KY in the last 15 years and neither

were that old. I can tell that one will clean up sweet.

Love that half cent--what great condition it is in. I've only found half cent. Before seeing the details on that freshly dug coin, I had no idea what is was. The size and weight sure are just unique. Boy, I sure would like to find another some day!
