Out for two hours today went to where they just knocked
a 100 plus year old house down. It was a mess but I did manage a
1945 half dollar and a nickel. Any one know how too clean it up
I can not see the date, it may not be there.

ru any where near Celina tenn, ?I live close and just started myself ?perhaps we could do some hunting together, ?I was working the area around the cumberland river found lots of bottles, ?my confidence isnt what it needs to b with this detector, ( which is new and very good one)

The coin cleaner that leon posted the link to cleaned to buffalo
up enough to tell there is no date left. It is a neat way to clean coins.
Do not plan on ever using the spoon again and keep a a close eye on
the water and charger as they both get hot, if you leave them going to
long very hot. Ranger ricky I would be glad to take you hunting with
me if you can get this way when I am off from work.

I have heard that Buffalo nickles are hard to find with the date still on them.
I have found 3 so-far and only one still has the date, ( 1919 ). A cousin of mine has several, and none of his has a date left on them. I think the main reason for this is the fact that they stamped the date onto one of the highest spots on the coin, therefor it was one of the first things worn off..
And, you are very welcome,,,Glad you liked the Electrolysis unit...I thought it was pretty cool...
Good Luck & Happy Hunting~
