My first CC mint!

Did some digging at one of my "go to" spots when I'm tight for time, after popping some old coins out of the dirt I decided to stay a while! And glad I did.. my very last find on the way out was this awesome 1876 cc quarter!

That looks like one great "go to spot". There are some nice coins in there, and congrats on your first CC Mint mark coin. I have never found a CC coin after all these years.

Thanks everyone! Went back there yesterday for a couple hours and didn't do so well. Got a nice gold plated cuff link and 5 wheaties.. explored some wooded areas but there's so much trash it's hard to find the goodies.

Great hunt, great finds. One of my favorite finds had a o mint mark on it. I'm not used to seeing mint marks, I'm so close to the Phila mint I could almost hit it with a rock at times when I was detecting.
