About 20 yrs ago two buddys and i were out scouting for old homesites in genesse county, MI to dig the privys. One place we checked out had about 5 or6 indentations in the ground maybe 8 to 10 ft across. Not a normal 1800's homesite, no foundations either. Maybe a small camp site or something.
At the edge of one i turned over the shovel full of dirt and found these points along with some good for tokens. Very odd combination.
Now all these years later I've got the bug to find points and i know where this site is today. Always wanted to go back and bring my detector along too.
The nicest point on the right, is i guess a knife or tool. Sure would have liked to see what the broken tip went to. Maybe I'll find the other half of it yet.
Gotta try to get permission for this site since you know that want to go back, asap!
