Clear air and water with warming temps. Fractal sunlight breaking through tree lines. The canoe and paddle board stands remain empty. About ten years ago we had Bald Eagles move into our harbor. They battle with the resident osprey but have reached equilibrium to coexist. The fish hawks are more adept fliers than the larger Eagles. But the Eagles have a move varied diet including squirrels, pets, and road kill. It's a sight to watch them spar midair. When the small fry soon populate these breeding grounds, bird life will abound.
