Must be spoon month!!

I went to an early site last week and hunted the muck and mud to recover this rat-tail pewter spoon. According to my research it's called the "wavy end" style, and dates to the early 1700s. I always enjoy finding anything colonial, so thanks for looking!

It does have nice color (patina) to it as well if that is the right term for pewter.

I know this one does not have the "rat tail" but just curious if it was similar in age. I have no spoon education.

Rick, from the research I have done, your spoon bowl would date to the late 1700s. I'm not a spoon expert though!!
