HI GUYS AD GALS

Made it out this morning and tonight...hunted 4.5 hrs total.

Tried out another spot...ughhhhhhhh.....was it ever muddy...I was a mess. Good part was ....ED took his truck !!!

Hit the blank copper as soon as I got there...then wet cold for a bit...so moved down the beach some and the mud was even worse. So back I went..Couldn,t find anything on the dry part of the beach so ventured into the muck again .

By the time I got done it was freaking awful...black slim and stinky to boot..but was lotsa targets....some good, some bad.

Not sure exactly what I got !!!

But some of it looks very interesting. Would appreiate any help you guys can give me to figure out what some of these things are.

The button that is 2 above the saw nut looks like 3rd regiment with a crown above it....maybe a very early 1800's button...

HI PATRIOT

I think your loooking at the 3 pence coin...very thin and hard shape from sitting in the salt mud for so long.!!

it clearly has a WR with a crown, William lV
patent, most likely made during his reign

appears to be a pewter spoon handle, possible the maker may have had an affiliation to the royals or was a maker for them, or it was simply a design device that was used make them look as if they had importance to the king or to help sell their wares by making it look like it was "fit for a king"

I love learning the history behind what I find ...one of best parts of the hobby !!
