I’ve gone hunting a few times over the last 14 days but I’ve been lazy so I haven’t posted them. Anyways here’s what I got on my last 5 successful hunts 👍

I decided to hunt a small local park on a Thursday afternoon. I didn’t expect much since the park was so small but I managed to find 14 coins, and a 925. silver earring! This would have been a great hunt but I caught the attention of some curious onlookers and they harassed me a bit while hunting… other than that, great day.

I went to a larger park to metal detect for an hour, I’ve hunted this park before, but there is still a lot to find there. I got some interesting things such as a 2006 rabies vaccine dog tag and a Texas Longhorns key 🔑

I was bored on Saturday so I hunted 3 small parks and did pretty well! Found my second ring of the year and a nice handful of coins.

There are a lot of parks in my area so I hit an older one. Had a crazy coin spill with over 12 coins in one hole. I also found a bracelet, but unfortunately it's not real ☹️ I also found the 3rd ring of the year. And the best thing I found was a 1935 buffalo nickel which is the oldest coin I found so far this year!

It was cold and wet outside but that didn’t stop me! I went for a quick hunt at the same larger park from earlier and it had more goodies for me 🙂 I found some change and a junky earring. It got too cold so I called it a day and headed home.

Anyways, thanks for looking!
Edit: I think I accidentally posted this before I finished writing lol 🤔

Congratulations on some good hunts. It looks like you re doing things the right way or you wouldn’t be find what you are. I’m sorry you had to deal with some ignorant people who harassed you at the park. Some people just don’t understand that most detectorists do not do any harm and actually make the places cleaner and safer by detecting.

Stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.
