For me personally, For a 100 year old man to come out and say he is someone else other than who he is known as, Id have to believe him over documents and etc.
Id like to know the actual odds of a 100 year old man str8 lying in his final years, and still proclaiming it until his death, Id say nearly all men was true believers in God in those days and coming from a generation where your word is all you got, id say the odds are astrnomical for a man with those values.
Reading @manhunters claim that his family knew Dalton as JJ long before he came out publicly with his true ID further confirms to me He probably is who he said he was. And just to keep in mind... census records may SEEM to show whos currently lives where, but I myself on paper, am right now and for last 3 or 4 years have been shown as living in a totaly different town than I actually do, a great conman once said nothing deceives like a document. Very true. Ill trust the word of the elderly who most likely was God fearing, and wlda likly been scared to lie before death.
Only thing I cld figure of he is not JJ, is that he truly belived he was, instead of a lie, the odds of that just don't seem realistic to me.
