More Proof that J. Frank Dalton was Jesse Woodson James

Didjaknow J Frank flew on a aeroplane to New York City? I almost wish he was Jesse for that
reason alone.:laughing7:

Okie knows. A newspaper had it on front page which was displayed on Tnet. I could find it if I was
that interested.

Could that say waist fob? Just found a 1949 story in Life Magazine on J Frank today. He was in my hometown of Angleton, Texas. I was very surprised. He was listed as one of the remaining Civil War vets. I do not know why he was here nor where. I am a 1/2 hour newbie here. Ran across yalls board looking for info on J Frank..I have also been searching for 25 years for SAM WINGO , a gr gr uncle and son of Willis P Wingo of Eufala, Okla by way of several other places. Any info on Sam who disappeared 1892 and was a former Deputy U.S. Marshal would be appreciated.
I've long believed that the man known as J. Frank Dalton was really Jesse Woodson James, just as he said he was in Lawton, Oklahoma in 1948 at the age of 100 years old. Last week, I purchased a historic postcard that confirms that I and others who believed were correct. I first posted the following this afternoon at our Bloody Bill Anderson Mystery group because dozens of our members have worked long and hard since 2006 to solve many mysteries of the Civil War and post-War period. *** As I promised late last week, I'm going to reveal the mystery object that I told you about then. It is now securely in my possession and the implications of it may be history-changing. This old postcard proves many things and one of the most important is that there is still a lot of evidence left about the topics we're working on at this group out there, just waiting to be discovered by researchers. We just need to be vigilant in pursuit of it. *** Here is the text from the front of this amazing photo postcard: "Shooting First Oil Well At Centralia, ILL. Nov. -1-'08. Made For Centralia Book Store" Informational text from back of postcard: "Made for dealers every where" Ritchie Bros., Centralia, Ill. Handwritten and signed text of the message: "How are you? hurry and send my waist for I need it - Jesse James. Addressed to: Miss Bertha Dalton - Cartter, ILL *** This is certainly terrible news for all of the Dalton/James naysayers out there. I'll be very interested in watching how they will react to it and try to spin and refute it. There's still a lot of research that needs to go into this amazing postcard and many questions that remain to be answered. I posed a few of them in previous messages over the past few days. I'll attach the two photos of this postcard and I am eager to see what additional information you all can add. ~Jay~ Jesse Woodson James Photo album: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/BloodyBillAndersonMystery/photos/albums/1440069169 ***

This could be proof that he was alive in 1904;

For me personally, For a 100 year old man to come out and say he is someone else other than who he is known as, Id have to believe him over documents and etc.
Id like to know the actual odds of a 100 year old man str8 lying in his final years, and still proclaiming it until his death, Id say nearly all men was true believers in God in those days and coming from a generation where your word is all you got, id say the odds are astrnomical for a man with those values.
Reading @manhunters claim that his family knew Dalton as JJ long before he came out publicly with his true ID further confirms to me He probably is who he said he was. And just to keep in mind... census records may SEEM to show whos currently lives where, but I myself on paper, am right now and for last 3 or 4 years have been shown as living in a totaly different town than I actually do, a great conman once said nothing deceives like a document. Very true. Ill trust the word of the elderly who most likely was God fearing, and wlda likly been scared to lie before death.
Only thing I cld figure of he is not JJ, is that he truly belived he was, instead of a lie, the odds of that just don't seem realistic to me.

Only about twenty years earlier he was Billy the Kid.

Franklin You are Correct, Dalton has had more identities than you can shake a stick at if he could make a quarter. lol!

The man in the blurred photo next to Jesse James is Judge George Baker Lake of Omaha, NE. He was also the Father in Law of Joy Morton.

When you come to the realazation that your ship is sinking you jump ship! I have looked at George several times over the years. What is a "Late abolitionists" anyway? It is one who takes control of what is left to control. That was the placement of the Negroe on the other side of the tracks from the white man in Omaha! https://northomahahistory.com/2013/10/27/a-history-of-omahas-north-24th-street/
