You might want to get a Geiger Counter, you might have uranium or some other radioactive minerals.

Nice rocks but you're killing me! I want to find some UV rocks. I have my UV flashlight and the gates are open on the dam and the lake is going down. Another month and I'll be out there looking. Can't wait to find a yooperlite. Gary

Those are really nice looking under the uv light, lots of nice color. Are you using long wave or short?

The pics are short wave, however they fluoresce virtually as well under a long wave. I don’t have the best camera so the long wave tends to wash out the pics. One thing that’s cool about these is how well they pop under a black light I bought from Spencer’s Gifts 22 yrs ago.

It is so much fun to light up rocks under UV. Your pictures have turned out better than the ones I have attempted in the past. I just bought a new camera and will have to give it try again soon
