I went back to the site where I dug the coppers last week, and decided to get a feel for another cellar hole close by. Dug 4 more coppers, 3 being early 1800s and one being 1903. I had a gold colonial Posey ring on my wish list since I started this hobby. I dug my 4th colonial ring, but it's not gold, and it's not a Posey. Bummer, but I still like it.

Thank you sir!

Nice old coppers, congratulations! :occasion14:

Thanks! I'm partial to the ring lol

"pure copper better than paper"

Great Finds !!! No chance of finding those around here. Congrats on the nice hunt.

That’s still a nice old ring.

Way to find the goodies!

Nicely done, and all the best,

Lanny

A very good day no doubt. Congrats

I can't wait to hit some of the other colonial cellar holes we found. There are 8 more to go, all virgin ground. Thank you all for looking and commenting!

Love the colonial ring. And the fact that the stone is still in place with such a delicate mount. That's a special find in my book.

I'm pretty happy with it! The stone is loose, so I'm going to add a spot of super glue to hold it in.
