Congrats on the latest pieces of the cannon, that sucker is in a lot of pieces.

What does the trunnion part weigh?

At least Joe posted up his latest finds-and stated that he beat after hauling the pieces up the hill.
But I guess a post up isn't worthy-if it not picture perfect.

Beats the hell out of the countless please click subscribers that post up nothing except a bloody look at me videos.
 

I’ll post more pics in awhile I had to bring it down cellar and shower.
 

No ****! Trunnions .For some reason I thought like a swivel arm.Maybe due to the small bore.It weighs 42.6 lbs

Agree, I just wanted to see some better pics of this amazing find. The original pics didn't do it justice, the new pics are awesome! :occasion14:

Look for markings on trunnion ends.

Certainly a cannon is a Banner find. I'll put my vote in! With all the pieces you have so far do we have a ballpark date yet? Enjoying watching this thread! :icon_thumleft:
 

No date yet.I really wanted to get out today but my body said no.I certainly hope I find more this season,time is running out and I’m Sheet rocking a house .I’m actually hoping for a thanksgiving hunt.(sooner if possible)
