Back in August I went to a coin show and bought eight Barber Dimes with the money I got from picking up empty cans and bottles on the side of the road. Since August I cashed in another $39 and went to a coin show this past weekend. I spent the $39 and got nine Barber dimes plus a Barber quarter.

Those are great looking coins. I had to look up a Barber coin and found a fascinating story about him. Thanks for sharing these.
Thank you and glad you found the story about Barber.

Well done on the picking up the returns, and the silver you bought.

I stopped by a field permission the other day.
Picked up a flattened beer can in the entrance.
Best recovery made.😁

There are days like that, and I've had some too.

Only a connoisseur of coins and old relics would think spending $39 for $1.15 is worthwhile! I think I would do it too, if they were old silver coins.

Great way to convert common items into valuable and historic coins! Great idea. Congratulations!
