Walking in my neighborhood the other day with the dog, I met these 2 guys who have all the guy toys in their driveways, you know the type, they have Harley's,jet skies, bass boats, etc. Any way the one tells me what wear you picking up in the road a minute ago,I said a dime,I found a dime in the road so I picked it up.They both kind of laughed at me and said are you that poor that you have to pick up coins. I said no I just like to do it and didn't see anything wrong with it.The other one asked how much do you usually find,I lied and told them only a few cents.Well today I'm up early 7am and walking my dog when I see one coming down the street and he rolls down the window and throws a handfull of change at me.I'm glad I was looking down,or I would have got it in the face.He threw $1.30 in coins at me,and laughed as he drove away.:laughing7:
I've herd of this happening to guys detecting on the beach sometimes.

You folks are a lot more tolerant than me. I have had people mess with me, like making fun of me for detecting, and yes I have had people toss money in front of me. My personal best is a man with his son strolled up into another mans yard that I was hunting ( With permission ) and started heckling me. And tossed some money on the ground and called me a pet chimp. I calmly picked up the money and and put a major league power throw, back at him. And I, in my most military voice asked him WTF his problem was. Shocked the heck right out of em, and he beat feet away. The owner came out and told me that the guy was jerk and was always an arse to people.

So in short I give it right back to em, no mister nice guy here. Because as long as you remain nice they will walk on you, and every now and then you need to stand your ground and give em the what for.

But I am really nice.

yep, I know the type... with all their toys and money. as a matter of fact, one such couple that I know just went from making over a hundred grand a year to making zero in the blink of an eye after the husband got fired from his job for failing a random drug test. I may not be the richest guy around, but I've got a decent job and groceries on the table.

Why don't I just come over here once a day & you can hand me a $20 :laughing7: "

or "Hey remember the other day you threw me those coins ?

There have been many people who would throw there change out. My old boss used to roll it down the corridor outside our office, and I'd just think what the heck, I'm making him plenty of money and yet as a Xmas bonus he only gives me 500. Now I'm sure he's wishing he'd kept his change since the market dropped. Lol.
My biology teacher showed us how to make a million in a month. Take a penny a day and double it each day. You wouldn't think it possible but it is. Do the math. I tell my kids to try it. Problem is that I can only double up to about 20 bucks. Lol. I still got bills to pay. Though they can see how quickly do this that it adds up quickly.
So let them throw it towards me. Helps me with goal of doubling last find.
Throw it at me. Well you'll get back what ya give. I'm still accurate. Lol. Then again. Hitting them with the penny might cost me more. Since I actually hit him and hurt the poor baby.

I wouldn't worry too much about them. Anybody can throw money at me as long as it's not whole rolls hahaha.
Think about this: The odds of them having a serious accident/STD is far worse then your odds. Feel better now lol?

Mate, Listen here , You take the dog for a walk for a couple of reasons . Why waste good dog poo and pee when you can clearly leave it in a certain persons drive-way ,all over their toy's, and if you yourself have an urge to go be may my quest.
revenge can be so sweet sometimes. Just make sure no-ones looking .:laughing7:

Mate < not sure what your laws are there in reguard to throwing solid projectiles from moving cars but down under its an offence that can get jail time or at least heavy fines. Also extremely dangerous ???

He just proved that even with all the toys, he is very unhappy, and wants you to be unhappy also.

Nothing wrong with picking up change.

I poured a concrete slab for an old Swiss cheese maker, nice old guy worth several million.

The slab was out back, and one of my guys put a quarter in the corner with the current year's date.

Next morning I walk around back to strip the forms, and I catch the old mizer with a screw driver prying the coin out of the concrete.

He was not one bit embarrassed in the least, and I'm sure that's how he acquired his millions, hard work, and not wasting it, no matter how small.

I normally pick up coins when i see them unless they are in the road or in a busy parking lot.

People laugh when they see me stoop to pick up something, but the laughs on them. It took me a little over two years, but I picked up enough to get my cousins daughter a $100 bond when she graduated college!

Yeah he's throwing that money out the window, he might want to think about throwing it on his maxed out credit card debt.

How ironic when you live in a city with beggars and panhandlers on just about every corner and the guy makes fun of YOU picking up a dime on the street!

Sounds like the idiot is begging to get his arse kicked. It will come back to him someday...

Hey I would have gladly picked it up and hoped the jackass did it again... Hey people look down on you if you pick up change in the street or anywhere for that matter.. My own wife thought I was nuts for the longest time until she went to the coinstar with me when I cash my treasure in.. LOL... Jokes on them.. Just a tip I don't drink so when my wife wants to go out for a night I always offer to be her designated driver.... Bars are an awesome place to score loose money.. I always make good scores around and under pool tables, jukeboxes and dart machines and drunks always miss there pockets with change and it ends up on the floor in front of the bar.. I know it sounds crazy but trust me you can make out pretty good doing this..

i've had the same thing happen to me...lol...i wish they would of thrown quarters...

I would've fell to the ground holding my eye, then run off when they turn around. Let them see you like that in the rear view mirror. Then show up at his door the next day with an eye patch on asking " how we gonna settle this ". Probably get another $500 outta him. ;)

I won't sugar coat it, I'm a very large man with an even worse attitude when pushed too far! If you hit me with anything (with intent), I will hit you. Afterwards, we can all go to jail together. I am not a jerk or mean person. If you want to hurt my happiness, I'll hurt yours. Other than that I'm a firm believer in "Live and let live.".

When I moved here from new York, I encountered that type of person{wealthy children whom took it for granted} However I am sure that they learned lessons when their parents lost much in 2008 type conditions, and may have even had to "work". Never give up, and find something you like to do! HH Boris 20130222_112827.jpg
