Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

Corozone, look what 'some hiker' posted this morning on the horse map ----post 2812 in the lost Dutchman mine.

perhaps I am not so crazy after all, if so you owe me a cuppa coffee.

P.S. but we did differ on some of the points.

Compadre, I don't owe you any coffee, but drink up.:coffee2::coffee2:

I had seen that video some years ago, Bob is just as confused as everyone else, and there is nothing Jesuit about the stones. They did not come from any Mission, and they do not lead to treasure. As I told you before, the map that NP showed you is also fake. I will pm you, and show you how Bob is wrong.

Hi corozone, mi compadre, yes you do owe me a cuppa coffee, if only on general principals.. so passa me it.

On NP's lil map, it shows things that only I knew of so far ??????

On the stones, I have had a lingering doubt ever since I first saw them, They have been co-incidental or copied from other bits of data.

But they do point to a series of deposits which the Jesuits working clandestine mines in Sonora & Chihuahua would need to stockpile for quick loading of the occasional Jesuit controlled ship.

They could have been constructed using data that I have posted on the internet, but if so, they are fascinating.

Even though my Initals are JC, I have not reached HIS status and have been fooled many times,in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Waiting for that PM loaded with curiosity.

In the meantime while waiting for that potential bomb, where is that cuppa hot coffee ??

p.s. Personally, at the present, I feel that the so called stones are from 2 or 3 different sources

Howdy Compadre Don Jose,

Well this time you are right, so here you go :coffee2::coffee2:

Yes it is true, you have been fooled before in the past, and will continue getting fooled in the future.:laughing7:

I have been away from home for several days to see my daughter get her Bachelors diploma, and won't be home for two more days. I have been using her computer just to stay in touch. Once I get back home, I will maybe email you.

I'M NOT SURE IF I HATE LOVING MY COMPUTER OR LOVE HATING MY COMPUTER...

FOR SOME TIME IT HAS BEEN TELLING ME THAT IT IS LOW ON SPACE FOR VIRTUAL MEMORY, AND TO WAIT WHILE IT CREATES MORE SPACE. I STARTED DELETING OLD PHOTOS AND PROGRAMS THAT I NO LONGER NEED, TO HELP THE SPACE PROBLEM.

I STARTED LOOKING THRU MY DOCUMENTS TO CLEAR OUT SOME SPACE THERE, AND DISCOVERED THAT EVERY TIME THAT I HAVE SAVED CHANGES OR ADD PAGES TO MY BOOK, THE COMPUTER CREATES A NEW DOCUMENT [ LEAVING THE EARLIER VERSION IN TACT] AND IT CREATES A BACK-UP IN THE SAME MANNER. THEY ARE NOT IN AN ORDER THAT I CAN FIGURE AND SOME OF THE CHANGES ARE REWRITES IN EARLY CHAPTERS AT LATER TIMES.

I HAD SEVEN PAGES IN CHAPTER SIXTEEN [ I THINK] THAT VANISHED, SO EVEN WHEN I FIND THEM I STILL WILL NOT KNOW IF I HAVE THE CORRECT SET OF REWRITES. I NEED TO RE-EDIT EVERY PAGE, ONCE I FIND THE RIGHT ONE AND DELETE ALL OF THE OTHERS, VERY CAREFULLY AND THEN SAVE IT TO A FLASH DRIVE, OR DISC.

I HOPE THAT I DON'T SEE THAT "WAIT WHILE I CREATE SPACE" MESSAGE ANY MORE AFTER CLEARING OUT ALL OF THE UNNECESSARY COPIES.

I SHALL NOT GIVE UP, NOR SHALL I GIVE IN. IT IS ONWARD AND UPWARD. RIGHT AFTER I REWIRE THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ON THE PORCH.

P.S. CONGRATULATIONS COASON FOR YOUR DAUGHTER'S GRADUATION. THERE IS NO OTHER FEELING LIKE SEEING YOUR CHILDREN SUCCEED.

Thank's Mikel,

Yes it's a great feeling knowing that all three kids are now educated enough to make it out there, and have a decent life.

I wish you luck with your computer, and hope you get things in order. :coffee2::coffee2:

FIRST HALF OF CHAPTER 16 IS FOUND!!!!
I'M NOT GOING TO DELETE ANYTHING 'TILL I HAVE A PROPER BACK UP.
DOC-D, IT WILL BE ON A FLASH-DRIVE FOR SURE! I HAVE MOST OF IT SAVED ON A DISC, BUT IT KEEPS TRACK OF ALL CHANGES, IN RED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DON'T TRUST IT.

IT FEELS GREAT TO BE MOVING FORWARD AGAIN.

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE POSITIVE ENERGY FOLKS.

As for one of the the stories on Tayopa we have to divert to Old China, in Peking in 1945, Everytime that I entered the night club With Toni Brovchenko, the orchestra would play ------.

One was about the Russians cavelry riding across the meadow land to attack the German positions----hence some called it meadowland.

Toni was a very beautiful white russian refugee and an extremely good singer. I wanted to take her back to the States as as my trophy, but the Us said no way.

Hello Mikel

I really like the background. It has good potential.

However I feel I should give some constructive advise. There is few things for me that does not do your book cover justice.

So I give ya a few tips on book covers....

For one the black font of words is not suited to the cover as the words are lost in picture. From a distance the words blend in with the map. Like the ink has run on an old tattoo.

1. I suggest to try a larger more bolder and different font say "Arial" in red. Which should make the title jump out at you Title should be 1-3 words or 4 at the maximum.

2. The title is way to long. People are lucky to remember one word not a whole sentence. So make title sexy and short. That grabs the eye and sparks interest.

3. A brief blub about the book 3-4 words 5 maximum. keep it short to the point. The real story is inside the book not on the cover. The blurb should be a catch line to garb potential readers attention.

If ya post up just your back ground I will post some designs and titles for you.

Though our esteemed fine feathered friend El Crow gives excellent advice, the simple fact is, this book is your baby!! Do what makes you comfortable...do what's in your heart. Regardless of what the cover ends up looking like, it's what on the pages in between that matter most! And by the way, Please add me to the list of people anxiously awaiting a chance to get their hands on a first edition SIGNED copy just as soon as you have finished it!

After that, it'll be Señor Don Jose's turn to get story(s) in Treasure-Hunterland finished and off to the presses (and then Oro's turn, & lilorphanannie, and Crow, etc.)!!

To all the TH'ers out there: I wish you a very happy & safe holiday season!

All the best-
J.A.

I'll take a down payment of a cuppa coffee J,A.A. I tend to argue / disagree with you on a book cover, tis like a gal. your first impression is would you like to follow up after meeting her Unfortunately we males are wired to feminine beauty, so if the cover isn't attractive enough, we don't follow up, unless there is no other 'reading' material that looks more interesting. first impressions stick with us.

I tend to follow Crows idea.

In the meanwhile Join me in a fresh cuppa coffee - Mexican Hill stuff.

Acknowledgements: (Book)

To acknowledge every one that helped in one way or the other, would take many pages, however they know who they are. and I extend my sincere thanks, many of which were on the internet, and especially on 'Treasure Net' thanks to the encouragement of the then owner - . However, I will single out a few individuals,

The unknown Guayajiro Indian that gave me an extremely valuable clue, Also Marc Austen for allowing me to use his Treasure net as a sounding board. It also produced an enormous amount of information by the members,. such as the lil map by NP, pointing out my errors, some discretely others --?? but all are appreciated,. giving freely of Information which could not have surfaced without their help.

If I must cite a few they would be Seton ( Unicorn ) for her work over the years in correcting my English, and constantly encouraging me when carefully laid plans for financing the development went astray, and there were many.. Roy Decker / Beth for his extremely helpful remarks and carefully researched fill in data, plus encouragements when it appeared that I had hit rock bottom in progress, And Crow' for his outstanding work on the cover, and 'especially' that unknown spirit that patiently sat on my shoulder and gave me a new clue whenever I was completely stumped on which way to turn, you might say my Guardian Angel.

On with the Story which probably couldn't have been written without their collective input ----------
