Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

John, Chih was Durango before they split it to represent Durango / Chih in about 1812. Chihuahua has been in existance since then, Naranjal is not located in present Durango., but Chihuahua. Most have made that mistake.

Anything is possible Don Jose...It is where I had stumbled upon it...And as I had stated earlier...I was pretty drunk at the time...So...It may be possible I was in Chihuahua...Though I do recall that my guide had stated we were in Durango...And seeing that the guide who took me to the area has passed away...We may never know exactly where the deposit is located...I have come to the conclusion that it is just another of life's mysteries that may never be solved...

Hello john, it stil existed. An Imdian up at Tayopa was cutting off gold from a cave of orange colored Gold bars that he found. He was about to tel me exactly where he got the when he died, his name was Benito, he ocne asked me "why would they leave a drill in the rock above a cliff, he, he, why but for a tie off point to decend ito an otherwise inaccesable part of the canyon., The deposit of Narnanjo, keep believing my friend. it's there.

I had seen a few things on some of my adventures Don Jose...I had posted some pictures of a large lever...Archimedes has a famous statement he made of a lever...It was at the beginning of the trail...I believe it had been left there by some ancient engineers at some point in the past...IF only I could make it back to the beginning of the trail I just may be able to get back to the Real de Minas of which I speak...hehehe

picture, if possible John.

I'm sorry to say I have misplaced the pictures Don Jose...I did have some with a closeup of the fulcrum...At the time I was under the impression that it was a death trap...But as time went on I began to do more and more research and I discovered it was actually a lever and a fulcrum...The fulcrum had 7 holes on the top of it which i believe may have been for ball bearings...or round rock balls...But who can say for certain???Anyhow i think it was one of the coolest discoveries I have ever made...maybe on day i may find a way to return to that place...though it is pretty hard to do on a shoestring budget...heck...that would make one heck of a centerpiece for a museum...an ancient crane...lol

John, we are all on a shostring budget , he he he don't worry.

I'm not worried Don Jose...I seem to have seen a similar fulcrum in one of Gollum's postings...Long ago I believe I had read that so in so had dug up a rather large sum of a cache at the site that Gollum had posted...But do not recall which thread the picture was in...One day I may pick up the search for the lost site...Heck...With the new 40 route it makes getting to Durango so much easier and faster from Mazatlan...Or so I have been told...

It always seems to cheer me up when I'm feeling down...lol...It seems as IF my welcome has worn thin...I think that I should depart before I am banned for good...I wish all of you luck in ya'll searches...Maybe one day ya'll may get lucky as I did...As IF the PSM's lead to Tayopa...lol...Peace ya'll...

'' John, you stated '' But who in their right mind would tell someone of the whereabouts of a Real de Minas.'' I did and futher I said I would guarantee protection under my claim , and what they would find would remain theirs. I was talking about Naranjar.

I am certain someone will stumble upon El Naranjal one day Don Jose...I think it is part of the 13 mine Real I visited long ago...But I still believe it is in Durango...I will not be wasting anymore of my time in searches for lost mines and lost treasures Don Jose...I will leave that up to the youngsters from here on out...I can't sing a certain U2 song anymore...Because I have been blessed with things far more valuable than said things...I believe I have found what I was looking for...I know I will make it to Reno one day...I doubt I'll find another paragon diamond to give away...But thus is life...I am a bipolar schizoaffective individual...And I doubt my personality will change for anyone or anything...lol...I do wish you luck in your search Don Jose...And to all of you others...I hope ya'll find that there are things in life more valuable than some things some people believe are of value...

john, what in th heck is a bi-polar shi---- ?

Some say that it is a serious mental illness Don Jose...I am in a state of constant depression...And some say that I am delusional...Heck...I have made some very big claims...I have claimed to have solved y2k by telling computer programmers to add color to a 00 clock...I have claimed to improve the missile defense by stating to use gps and put our outgoing missile on the same track as the incoming enemy missile...I have claimed to have solved the star wars laser compensation by using the green witch principal...Just to name a few Don Jose...Oh well...I guess that I really am delusional...As I have stated...I suffer from a serious mental illness..Oh...And I failed to mention I even believe that I am the greatest poet of all of time...lol

I have been amiss. I have started several subjects, then just forgot to follow up on them. will correct that tomorrow.y only excuse is that i have been so wrapped up in self pity, and my loss that ---- sigh.
