Middle East Hunt- Coin?

I've found several coins in this area, but this is the first one I've unearthed that is completely without markings.

My question is, do you think this is a coin that has been completely defaced over time or could it be some old, hand-made currency? Or maybe it ain't even a coin at all...

Material seems to be some type of copper alloy

Maby a small ingot - possibly a counterfeit coin that was silver plated and poorly cast? Good luck!
