I scored this original Serigraph hand signed and numbered limited edition piece by Leroy Neiman. I found it today at a community garage sale that had started on Saturday. It is definitely not a poster, as I inspected it very carefully prior to buying it. It does not have the "dot matrix" pattern which would indicate a poster. As always, your comments are definitely appreciated.

Measures:

Art 26" Long by 35" High
Framed 33.5" Long by 41.5" High

Holy crap, great find!

May I ask what you paid for it?

I paid asking, $5. :-)

The seller didn't have this outside. It was in his shed along with many other artworks. I always get out and ask, and this is another time when doing so paid off. It works out as exercise, so that's why I make a habit of getting out of the car. :-)

Seems legit. Great find.

Looks very legit to me, as I had a signed Neiman one time (1 of 4)

Artslinger makes a great point about looking at prints with a loupe. A common print will have that dot-matrix pattern.

At a rummage sale, there was a framed poster of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, with their autographs. That I have seen before, except this one had a second "autograph" of Babe Ruth in addition to the first. With a loupe, even through the glass, it was easy to see that all three signatures were of a dot-matrix pattern.

Good googa mooga! 5K +/-, no? Now, how does one sell that to maximize profit? Regional auction house? Congrats.
