Mexican Silver

I assume Mexico does not mark thier silver as we do. I have a few peices of jewelry marked "Alpaca Mexico" they all look silver but no words such as Sterling or 925 exsist. Are these silver?

Don't even trust mexican silver that is marked as sterling, or .925, or whatever.

You are 100% correct. We(here in the markets of San Antonio, flea and otherwise) see a lot of fake silver jewelry. Down here everything gets tested now. People get taken everyday.
