glues or epoxy only hold for a short time and some not at all
the ears will re-break near the same spot.
the parts i make are 2 to 3 times the thickness for the original ears and has a strong base to attach to the coil
i have been using the first generation unit for two years now in farm field's and wooded areas with no problems

I meant to attach your part to the coil. Or do the zip ties hold tight enough to remove all movement? I tend to over-engineer things... Thanks for a valuable and necessary part.

zip ties hold it in place tightly
