Membership Certificates

Hi gord,
It used to be a Resturant. I used to stop there about 30 years ago when I was in Photography. The place is really run down. It was hit a pretty good lick last year by all the storms and bad management. I understanbd that the owners took the Insurance money and ran.
It's going to take some serious money to fix it up but it is a PERFECT LOCATION.

The Membership Certificates are suiteable for framing if anyone is interested. I will soon have a Model to show.

Peg Leg, Cornelius is right. I'm a General Contractor and can tell you that a "little" fixing up can get expensive quick, especially with commercial property that has to be brought to Code. I can help you figure some of this out if needed I'm stuck on a project in Georgia and will probably be for another year :'( so I can't just run down there to help anytime, but I would be glad to help anyway I can. Maybe in an advisory role and hands on when i can break away. If I can be any help to you just PM me, once I get back down there I might be able to help out a good bit. Take care, fldiver

Cornelius.
You are correct in that I should open the doors before I make Memberships available.
To be honest I do not have the funds available to just purchase the property outright.
However I do have some $$$ commitments if I ever locate the Ghost Ship. I was planning to locate this wreck this week but I cannot find divers that are interested enough to go and take a look. So here I sit on my thumbs looking for someone that is SERIOUS ENOUGH to go and take a look with me. I cannot dive anymore simply because I have an infection in my left foot that I have been fighting for 7 years. I do not mind if the leg has to go but not until I complete this Project. It is hard enough trying to get around with only one leg but NO legs would be a real problem.
Sorry for being blount and getting personal but this I how I feel.
Thanks for the good advise.
fldiver,
I would really need some help when the money is on the table.
Thanks for the offer.

Pegleg,

About the infection in your foot...ask your doctor as quickly as possible about getting you into hyperbaric therapy. It's basically a decompression chamber that pressurizes oxygen into your tissues where blood vessel growth is limited and normally (and therefore deprived of oxygen). My sister is a hyperbaric nurse and she swears by it. She has told me stories of gangrene-infested limbs that were restored and saved. It's perfect for people with diabetes and poor circulation. It actually stimulates capillary growth. It's cutting edge technology and many doctors won't prescribe it due to their lack of knowledge. Don't take no for an answer. Check online for the closest hospital with a chamber and demand a referral.

Hope this helps,
Darren

arren,
I have heard of this process. I ws going to give it a try until I was told that it is $5,000 a treatment and that I would have to go everyday for 30 days with NO guarantee it will work.
I have only one leg left . This will take everything I have (money wise) and if things got worst There would not be anything left for my wife to live on.
I think if things get worse I would prefer to lose the leg. I know this sounds stupid but losing the leg would only cost me $6,000 out of pocket. I would prefer to have no legs than leave my wife broke.
Hope everyone understands.
Thanks

Those whom I know go only once or twice a week. But that's still expensive if insurance won't cover it. You'd be better off buying your own hyperbaric sleeping bag. Cost: $2500. If you're not claustrophobic, it might be the ticket for you :)

Hi Darren,
I have been thinking about making my own Hyperberic device.
Since I have an oyxagen tank I was thinking of making a mold of my foot from a rubber like material. Adding a valve to connect the device to my tank and turning the thing on-at low pressure of course. The pressure will seal the device around my foot. It would be similar to a kids swimming pool flot or water wings. You would use a air blowup tube and then cut a few very small holes to allow the oyx to surround the infection.
Of course this has to be worked out but that is not a problem.
What do you think>

Hey Peg,

Once you've got a place for the "Pirates Cove", let me know if you need any help with painting or interior decor. I am pretty handy with a paint brush and have an artistic background with a great deal of experience "antiquing" things.

Also, I am a diver (for 26 years) and full time treasure hunter/artifact conservator (for the last 8 years) and would be interested in talking to you about your "ghost ship" if you are serious about needing assistance with that.

It sounds like you already have your artwork for the certificates taken care of so I won't follow up on that with you as per our email conversations.

"Pirate's Cove" sounds good man... I am a non-smoker, but respect everyone's right to make their own choices. I would love to hang out at your establishment so please consider having a little area set aside for us non-smokers too. Talk soon...

If you want to discuss your "Ghost ship", email me at [email protected]

All the best! Phips

PhilsFolley,
There will be a section for NON SMOKERS. They will be room for everyone. In fact I was planning to have a Captains Deck on the roof where people could sit and watch the ocean and enjoy the ocean breese and drink a cool one or just sit and talk.
It is hard for me to explain what my mind sees but it will be a place for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.
I sent you a PM.

Hi Everyone,
I just returned from St. Augustine this afternoon. Just wanted to look around. It is a MOOD ELEVATOR. I walked through the shops and my wife commented what I thought about doing the Pirates Cove here.
My friends this is a TOURIST TRAP with 99% of the items being sold are NOT anything that has been recovered from the Seas or Oceans or even made in the USA or even from Spain. I enjoyed the old buildings and the mood it created.
So this is not a place for me to go into business.
I will stick with the location I have found in Brevard County.
More Later

I think I will STOP talking about the Membership Certificates until there are completed and ready for Marketing.
.
Thanks
Peg Leg
