That is an outstanding find! I've found one mass militia button from that era and it's definitely one of my favorite finds. Being that it's Mass Militia found in Mass and I'm a Mass lifelong resident it's definitely getting a banner vote from me. Also that thing is huge and it's a miracle that it's not damaged by nature or your shovel!!! My hands are clapping for this one!
