Here’s a wow factor
Sure is. What a beauty!!
Do you find ones like these most of the time? If so, that insane. Do you have to register any of the objects that you find, or just pretty much check in to let them know you're out there.
Would be nice to see what was all made with that color of stone.
Looks like a zebra pattern? just guessing.
I'm sure that we have some areas around us or probably an hour or so away, where you can do some treasure hunting. I will definitely look into it.
Thank you very much for that picture.

Where are you located? I’m in Georgia
I don’t always find pretty ones like that one most were made on the fly for hunting. I’m sure they made pretty ones to show off. I find a couple of good ones a year but mostly pooters. I’m still happy to find any.

I'm in Wisconsin. Still too cold for me to go out scavenging for treasure, lol.. I'm sure they did make pretty ones. So crazy how some lasted this long looking as good as that one. I'd save those for the special hunt, lol.. The LUCKY arrow, lol..
You're probably right though, they got all dressed up with their best attire and had their best weapons by their side showing off to other tribes that they might come into contact with.
That's really cool 😎 that you find one here and there. Who knows, one day you might find a few in the same area.
Do you put these in some kind of protective wrap or bubble wrap.
Lol.. I know what you mean, you found it in dirt or a creek or something and it's lasted this long. I've seen display cases as well.
That's funny, pooters. I know if I were to go out on my land and if I'm not careful myself looking for possible treasures or just walking around, I'll be stepping on or picking up with my hands my dogs pooter, lol.. Yuk!! Lol..
You're right, it's always fun finding some kind of treasure, part of history.
Keep up the good finds!

Jim

Hello Everyone

I want to mention that if anyone has any information on these that I've posted or any past ones and if of any value, please let me know. It would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you
Jim
Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I have 100s I’ve found along with some hard stone like Celts. I’ve got 100s of broken ones too. You have to know what you are looking at or it will just look like a pretty rock. You won’t even notice them. Kind of like this picture.

AWSOME! That's a beauty! Like Waldo? Lol.. Better yet, those puzzles where you look for a minute or two and then it's supposed to pop out.
Good job! pulling those out when searching in the rocks and creeks. Pulling them apart from other rocks does take practice, and someone who's been doing it for a while, like yourself, lol.. I forgot the most important tool, GOOD EYES! lol.. Probably years, right?
Have you ever taken a few and tried to compare some of them in, like, oh a museum or some book that shows possibly different kinds through different years?
Overall, good job! finding them and having lots of fun as well!

I have books. Finding them in a creek they can be any age. Water washes them out and they can travel on high flow so you don’t know where they actually came from. I collect old bottles to so you never know what you’re going to find

One of the best guides out there. I learned a lot from this sight/guide.

Forgot to show you this before.
I got this from my son's storage locker the other day.
I tried to find it online and had no luck whatsoever.
I'll post this on New Finds, but I thought I'd run this past you to see first.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Jim

Oh good. Can be so confusing otherwise without them.
Water washes them out just in time for when you come by and find them, lol..
Cool! where do you usually hunt for your bottles?
You're right! you never know.
I pretty much need to expand my room if I keep finding things to collect, lol..
I guess like you and I we are just having too much fun finding interesting things out there and of course becoming knowledgeable as well. Keeps the mind oiled, lol..
