map dowser

Buck- Mapquest still works for me. It's pretty cool actually. I use it when I am detecting a home I have never detected before(farmhouses). I get the lay of the land just by typing in the address. You can zoom in to about 150 or so feet. The bad thing about it is SubDivisions, it will show the whole thing. Big brother/sister (PC) are out to get us all. Happy Hunt'in-Holyfield

Holyfields offer

Holyfield, There are a number of people on this list who will verify that I have never charged an advance fee for dowsing. I don't even ask for a refund of my postage to mail them the map. I do ask that an honest search be made of the areas I mark and that I recieve a share of recovery. How's that for a money back guarantee? Life is way too short to waste time with sceptics. The sort of open offer you made will cost you a bunch of money especially if you actually put the money in the ground. I'm sure at least ten highly qualified dowsers have already made plans to drop by and relieve you of your money. Whether they knock at your door or wait until you are at work remains to be seen. I have my own projects in Michigan and they are a lot bigger than $10,000. The first thing I dowse is the person requesting help. If they don't pass, I don't work. YOU DON'T PASS, Siegfried Schlagrule

Siefried-Thanks for your reply. Thank You for finally putting this to rest. If dowsing was for real you would'nt have to get on here to defend it. It's as fake as Yuri G-Big time wrestling. I will take your free pass. I am one of the non-believers in the fine, honest (For Real) art of map dowsing. I do my own research and use my own tools to find my treasure's. If I need help with something I get help from the REAL professional on this site. They are not psychic's, but people who have more experience than I. They don't charge me for the advice they give. If I ever need a REAL dowser I suppose all I have to do is change my screename and give you a call. Please excuse me for hurrying along, I'm five minutes late for my se'ance. . p.s. Just to let it be known I have not been contacted by any dowser's, qualified or not. Happy Dowsing-Holyfield..

Psychics vs. dowsers

Hello Holyfield, You make the same mistake that most sceptics make when you insist that dowsing and dowsers are psychics. A psychic reads the future - usually not very well and a dowser reads the present and the past - usually very well. The past is immutable and unchanging and the future outcome is determined by the the interactions of millions of unrelated events. A dowsed answer regarding a future event is no better than flipping a coin because as soon as it is uttered events work to change the outcome. Thus the best team you could have is a skilled dowser and a skilled psychic. Anyone accepting your challenge would be a fool. There are too many loopholes and nothing to gain for the dowser. If you would be willing to have a group of dowsers design a fair test that you select from a number of fair tests- then you might have a long line of dowsers willing to participate. Only one would get to unless you have an unlimited number of $10,000 coin collections. Even you wouldn't be that stubborn. I have learned that the worst sceptics can be turned into the best dowsers but I'm not going to waste my life force doing it. Maybe you'll someday find a dowser willing to put up with your negativity long enough to teach you. Siegfried Schlagrule

Well I guess i will put my 2 cents worth in .In one way i am like Holyfield But i do belive in water witching at one time i did not .Back in the late 1940 and early 50s i tried dowsing for treasure and dug a lot of empty holes then in this part of the country we hade a 4 year drought i had some frinds that had about 30 head of cows and no water the boys dad said he would witch a place and we could dig for the water i told him i did not belive in that he cut a forked willow then he said stand in front of me and hold my hands whitch i did with me walking backwards he came to a place that the fork bent down till it allmost twisted the bark off of it then he told us that we would find all the water that they needed at 3 feet we did and the water came gushing out . I am like holyfield in the 1960 and 70s i hade $400 dollors in silver buried and any one that found it could have it severial tride but could not find it .then a guy came to me in the 1976 clamed he could find money no mater where it was at .I took him to the test spot he took out his home made thing and started off stright for the money got within 10 feet of it and turned away look around a little more then he said he was getting 2 differnt pulls i had a silver dollor in my hand and i acted like i put it under the car he with his tool went under the car but the silver dollor was in my back pocket .for 58 years i still have not seen any body that could find gold are money from a distent. Holyfield have you hade the $1600 moffet squar coin check to see if is real ara a fake .I got a waybill some years ago that call for 400 of them at that time the red book said they were worth $30000 apec it allso said to beware of fakes they are highly rear yours is the second one that i know of. I belive if a person had Chersties in NY to auction it and it had the papers saying it was real it would go for $50000 to $100000 so take good care of it

Dwight Traina- Thanks for all the support in here. I can't wonder for the life of me why a MapDowser would pay so much attention to me when there's millions in buried treasure to be found. Human nature shows that we all strive to get our points of view across. I guess Mr. Siegfried and myself have to just agree to disagree, and leave it at that.---Dwight I recieved the 16$ Moffat from my grandfather(not greatgrandfather) in 1978 before he died. He won it in a poker game somewhere out west in the 1920's. My dad told me when my grandfather recieved the Moffat he had been playing Five card stud with some not so highly qualified members of political and social influence (GANGSTERS). After my grandpa won everyone's money the moffet was thrown into the center of the table, and Gramps won it with three aces. My moffet has (2) Scrape marks on it's edge on the right side. It looks like someone was skimming a little off the edge. Yes it is real, and was valued at around 35-40k last year, because of it's minor defection. I'm going to pass it on down to my children when they get of age, tell them the story, and hope they pass it on down to their children. If I could only find one of those detecting, I would be so lucky..Do you know where I could find a good dowser?? Happy Hunt'in Holyfield

Siegfried, Thanks for the first lesson. Happy Hunt'in-Holyfield

If i knew of one i can make him never want for any thing again

Here is my two cents worth on dowsing I would like to learn more about it there are groups on the yahoo website that look for new menbers but when you try to join up they say no that your website has a starnge name I say B.S. nuff said Buck beware of goodie-two shoes

you know at first I was a kind of a beliver in dowsing I brought a lotof books on dowsing I brought a pendulum rods and went to the desert and went work with them did not have a lot of luck with them so I went back to my MDing not having much better luck with that but beening my first real year I did not except a whole lot for the desert is a Big place and I got a lot of time to work it but I have allways been told that a mind is a terrible thing to waste so I want to learn to dowsing from something ohter than books So I looked under dowsing in the yahoo groups the group I wanted to join said NO when I asked why I was told that I had a weird website name My kids cat name. so I dont know about all dowsing people But this group leader Must be GOD nuff said Buck

Hello Holyfield And all you other treasure hunters out there.I have figered out how to use this map dowsing when you are treasure hunting. this is so good anybody can do it the way gas prices cars or pu cost today this is a grate tool .this is so easy that i should put it on a disk and sell it.Lets take a poll and see how manny would how like to know what i have learned it is for free .I will post it 3 days from today Dwight

I have noticed that the swing of a pendulum can easily cover an acre or two even on a large scale map. 20 feet is nothing. If I am put within 50 feet in our local rainforest I can usually find Something. One just has to be aware and observent. Fred

All kidding aside, I have successfully demonstrated using a Swingline stapler suspended over a freshly printed USGS map and was able to find several things...

First, it's totally bogus...

Second, It works only if you believe in the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and any other childish fantasy...

And third, the stapler was empty :laughing7:

Dowsing is not about being "legitimate".............
It is about proof. I have hired a few "maser dowsers" and all of the hunts came up as bogus.
I would like to see just 1 dowser with a treasure chest full of loot.
It will not happen......

Well there's your problem!!!! Ya gotta have exactly 17 staples in it not 16 not 18 but 17 :icon_thumright: Otherwise you mess up the balance..

Boogy,

You're absolutely on target...

Now I,m getting perfect ground balance...

Made a major hit on some 'Nur'...which I can now add to my collection... :laughing7:

Glad I could help! Sometimes those Swinglines are hard to tune, although not as difficult as the Chinese brands. ;D ::)
