I needed a detecting fix this am and went out for a hunt. I figured I would head to a old site I did once before. Well I get there and the place was like digging in concrete. We need rain. So I give it up and head home. While doing so I saw a small hunk of woods next to a few old houses. So I stop and have at it. I thought at least I won't do any harm digging.
The ground is just as dry and digging just plain sucked. I did get a few good keepers that kept me interested. A buff. nickel, a William penn token and the other stuff. I got a over load signal with a v.d.i. of 84 on my V3i. Not more then a couple of inches down I dig out this buckle. So now I am holding this in my hand and thinking what the hell is this doing here. I took a pic with my phone.
At this point I left because I get to excited when I find something cool and I don't concentrate on what I am doing. I packed it up and went home.
