Looking for best all around detector under 800.00

Looking to add a detector to my prospecting arsenal. I am planning on using it mostly for gold, but will use it on the beach at a few different lakes. Would like to keep the price under 800.00

For $800 I'd try to find a used Minelab pulse induction detector (anything in the GP series). Gold Bugs and other VLFs are good for hunting really shallow bedrock but here in Arizona they make so much noise from the mineralized soil they're really hard to use. That's what I'd do if you're serious about finding gold.
