Looking for any treasure leades here in Colorado

Lizard MY wife says I can say good morning to the preacher and Make him mad. That is certainly never my intent. I really don't think any treasure magazines know why cavern of the skulls or the reynolds gang treasure is not worth looking for. They are not privy to the information I gave you. And anybody who has read all my posts know I love treasure magazines. The chalk cliff treasures is to far west. You need to go east toward the county line. The spanish trail, silver king and the buried silver treasure all tie together. I love my minelab I get tired of people trashing it. And when I talk about gold if I can't pick it out of the pan with my fingers I throw it away. I don't want that small stuff. I hope you noticed I only had about five minutes to type. Different people have different treasures. I hunt ghost towns and lode ore. I quit chasing treasure a long time ago. I like finding 45's and old mining stuff. I am trying to get all those ghost towns on lat and lon. Brave men like those guys deserve to be remembered. I however in my research run into thing that throw light for you treasure hunters. Now if you look at all I gave you about the chalk cliff treasure I gave you a lot. I am an abrasive kind of guy that is why I usually hunt alone. We are all here for fun. Several Of the Colorado Guys are thinking of getting together for an outing. I guarrantee you it will be a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. You are welcome to come. It is looking Like the second wekend in June. We're gaoing to try to get togethet before that. The spanish was mining gold I think I know where they was getting it, even if I don't Know what I do know will make a treasure hunter do a jig. I been waiting nine months to do this. Join us. I don't Know if I'll make the PPal, but maybe I'LL see you there. I'm the only one that brings a 10 year old boy. If I can ever get this computer figured out I'll post what a pan of gold should look like. I gurantee there is no flour there.

Wild Boulder,

No harm done. I would be very interested in going with you on the panning trip in June!!!

It seems time is more valuable than treasure sometimes. :) We should talk and I will try to get that weekend free.

I have a minelab and really like it but I'm not sure how it is with gold.

Talk to you soon,

My son and daughter always go with me. We"ll have to close it at those people. If One of You Denver guys Know an area where we could meet preferably in the southeast area. Let me know. It is not that I'm stupid. It is just that I can"t type. Preliminary date second week of june. By the way dano is that a picture of you? you look a lot like a girl I used to date.

LOl Bill! Sorry Free got me started changing pics. Thats one of me and Guido at the library, the kids took turns reading to him.
So how long of a trip are you planning? 1 day, weekend, or all week?

The Tarryall nuggets are not that easy to get to. It's a wilderness area so you have to hike or ride a horse. I have Sydney's dads map of his finds. The falls will take an overnight trip to get to & back. The area is loaded with old mines & Spanish markers. It's rough to get into because all the land around it is private & unless you sneak through you have to take the long way around.
I'd like to hire a wrangler with horses take a group in & drop us for a week.

Good luck.

Sounds like somebody has done their homework! We can discuss this at first meeting. But lets not have it a McDonald's too many of us might get hurt in McPlayplace, Just a precaution!!!!

Re: Looking for any treasure leades here in Colorado- SAND CREEK MASSACRE SITE

You can metal-detect at the SAND CREEK MASSACRE SITE.

It is on private property- and has not yet been designated a national landmark.

http://www.sandcreektours.com/

Contact the Bowens (the land owners) at (719) 336-5082
[email protected]

There is a charge to metal-detect there (1-7 people - $150/ 8+ people=$20 per person).

You AREN'T allowed to keep any of the artifacts that you find- you must turn those over to the Bowen's.

.....Wouldn't if be fun to get a large group of folks together and go hunting out there?

SAND CREEK TOURS Adjacent to what will become a National Historic Site under the National Park System, the Bowen Ranch contains many artifacts from the time of the Sand Creek Massacre. That infamous day in Colorado history saw approximately 163 Cheyenne and Arapahoe Indians, many women and children, massacred at this site located east of Eads, Colorado and north of Lamar. Contact Chuck and Sheri Bowen for tour informaton at Sand Creek Tours. (719) 336-5082. www.sandcreektours.com. For an alternative interpretation of this historical event, read Greg Michno's "Battle at Sand Creek The Military Perspective." See this video clip.

Yea, right, like I'm going to go and do all the detecting, dig up the artifacts, on this guys private property, and he gets to keep everything, plus I'm going to pay him for letting me do his work for him. If I'm just out for exercise, I'll jog around the block. I don't pay anyone to perform a service for them, they pay me for preforming the service. Did I talk about exercise? Lets say exorcism, I think we may need one, seems theres a demon among the uninformed, unknowing and gullible ones. Thats the reason I usually work alone, no one to tell me what to do, when to do it, where to do it, how to do it or how long to do it, and I keep everything I find. Oh, and by the way, for any of you folks who would like to come on down to my claims, here in AZ., by all means do so. You can pay your own expenses for your trip down, and when you get here I will take you out and you can detect for and dig nuggets for me all day, but I keep everything, and I only charge $75.00 per person.

Hey Wild Bill,
Sorry I didn't get back to you, but I been down for three days, my server had a case of the nuts so I couldn't get on line and then I messed around and lost some stuff in my E-mail. Still trying to nuggetshoot here in AZ., but its a little warm, around 114 yesterday and 112 today.

Anyone have any info ??? on a TH'er who lives (?) in Cortez..
He had a site over in Utah that he and his son were working on!
The son was involved in a BAD! traffic accident and they had to stop working on the site!
I had his email address on my old computer, which "crashed"!
I'd like to renew our conversations!
Thanks... :)
