List of various treasure legends in the Superstition Mountains

There seems to be quite a number of treasure stories tied to the Superstition Mountains.

Would someone please list the various treasures theories?

I’m aware of the Lost Dutchman’s Mine Story....

SW,
I have heard/read about some, and there does seem to be plenty to keep a person busy for a few lifetimes :)
I don’t have a list, and not sure who would.

There is a YouTube channel called “Chasing Legends”, and it may provide some of what you’re asking.
I’ve watched quite a few of the episodes, and enjoyed them.

Here's one for you. a cowboy-miner named Al Senner, high graded over 1000 pounds of Goldfield ore and buried it in deerskin pouches on top of Superstition Mountain. The story is well told by Helen Corbin in her 1993 book "Senner's Gold". Tom Kollenborn and Bob Corbin investigated the story, but never found the gold.

Here is a start:
Dr. Thornes gold
Two Soldiers mine
wagoners lost ledge
Apache gold
Silverlock & Goldlock
lost Peralta mines
Gonzales mine
wisers gold
Jenkins lost hoard
lost sombrero mine

many of these are just a different name for the same thing, the Lost Dutchman mine, but some are different such as the two soldiers and wagoners lost ledge.
more seem to get added with every new publication.

Thanks.....from the outside many seemed to point to a common mine...just with a different story attached...

Some times it hard to know whats what? That is one the inconsiderate problems of searching for lost mines they just do not have a name on them.:laughing7:

They are always open for conjecture.

Right but wasn't it said that he rode his horse up the trail to flat iron to cache the gold away? Is that possible?

Heck, goldfield could have been where the LDM was. I believe in many reports, those who had been with Jacob had started that way...towards first water from Phoenix.

But what about the lost dragoon pistols? Anything on that?
