Let's See Your Adena Points

After seeing the post by unitas with his favorite Adena Points I thought I'd post a few of mine as well. To much snow on the ground and it will be a while before we can hunt again, so I'll just bide my time by posting pictures.

These are all personal finds except for the first picture and those I bought. They are from Tennessee and all the others are from southern Ohio or northern Kentucky around the Scioto county, Ohio area.

If anyone else has some Adenas then post them so we can see them.

good thread idea dorkfish, those are some really sweet adenas you posted, here's a few of mine. first two are flint ridge from ohio, second one is my only adena hafted scraper.

last adena is one of my finer drills, sorry about all the posts, haven't figured out how to post more than two pics per post, someone help a newb out, lol. those first two are really fine examples dorkfish.

Here are my best ones that I've found and
I'm sure are adenas. Have others that I'm not
sure about IDing.

found in White county IN. The
second I found in west TN.

great pieces dollar zero, really nice insitu pics too, good thing you were the first to come up on that point, I swear I'm always seeing other artifacts in you insitus, I think i see a flake knife or scraper, it's white. hope you picked up the shell too, you never know if they were drilled or worked. Ryan

Southerngirl, that looks more like a Heavy Duty Point than an Adena. Very nice piece though.

Here's one i found in Jan.08.Material is Flint Ridge.
