A few from Florida. The gray one is the first point I ever found.

Looks like it could be a flake point. Still a triangle but I wouldn't know what style to put it in. Maybe triangle preform? I have a couple pieces I call tri performs but who knows.

No it isnt a flake I have it in a frame thats why it looks thin. I think somebody told me it was a Greenbriar? or a Greenville? Something like that anyway.

Some Mandan

Cool thread, these were found at the Mandan Village site where Steve and I hunt. I think it's interesting to see the similarities to those others have posted.

Here is another one I found this yr. I think this would be considered a triangle. I believe its a mississippian point.

Real nice ... love those.

Some triangles are so small and the detail is amazing. I enjoy finding them.

I believe the difference in Madisons and Levannas is that the Madison is more associated with the Ft Ancient/Mississippian cultures and the Levanna is a Middle Woodland/Hopewell type.

Here's some of my Triangle Points. These are all personal finds except for the tray in pic #6 which are all from one site in Kentucky and the very last tray and they are all from Mongolia. It's amazing how similar they are to our Madisons.
