Got a Great hunt in after Church & lunch.
About a 3 hour hunt 30 minutes away.
My very first signal was a clad dime followed by a 1941 Merc!!! I had to clean the whole yard. I have the tones set up to distinguish Nickels, Indians and wheats up with a high frequency so it’s easy not to miss. Had discrimination set at 56. No notches set. Reactivity set at 1.5, Sensitivity set at 96, target volume at 4, iron volume 0. There were so many coins in the yard!!! Dug a lot of junk Pennie’s, but I cleaned that yard.
Headed to the next house and set the frequencies just for Nickels and 87 up with a high pitch. May have missed an Indian but I was getting tired. I got a quarter signal hitting 94. Dug it out and put the plug back and scanned over it taking off and it hit another short tight 94. I was like ok another quarter. To My surprise it was a 1918 French 50 Centime!!! Silver#22fty
Wheats-1913,1945,1941,1919,1920D,1919,1935,
1958D,1953D,1934
Nice 2 Silvers on a beautiful day!!! It was a little warm though😳 Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!

Nice finds. The obverse of that French coin reminds me of a Walking half dollar. Congrats!

Maybe someone dropped that 50 Centime who served in the Great War?

You certainly cleaned up!
Nice finds :)
