Late 1700's Half Reale! (Don't get too excited...)
I got out to a place I can only hunt a couple of times a year over the last two sunny mornings.
The majority of oldies I've found were on a 25x75 area. The same area produced the coins below. I'd love to be able to take off a foot of dirt now that the signals are few and far between.
This little guy was a nice surprise. Another comes off the bucket list, but I would definitely like to find another in better shape. You can barely see the bust, and it is bent. The condition is brutal.
Late 1700's Half Reale
1899 Barber
Victorian Knot Brooch
A cool cuff-link
I don't think this button is military, but I could be wrong. Any idea on the date or who used this style? It is 2 -piece back.
Happy hunting.
