LOL, I am from bloomington. I have no clue I have only hunted local. I will be coming up I55. I guess its near or in chi town . I heard beer.......beer=road trip worthy

Murph better be a hot chick. I got a guy coming at 8am from chi-town to pick up a soundboard I sold on ebay. That means no going out tonight. I am drinking a guinness thou. So what are you doing at 11pm friday night on the comp . Seriously thou I am not familiar with chicago much. I take I55 to 294 north to get to des plains, but after that I dont know.

guinness?looks like we got a new brother murph.camps easy,go to 294 north get off at touhy(west),go to River rd(first lite) and take a left and go south to devon(2 lites),go left,only enterence on left,we'll be parked just aliitle way up(you'll definatly see us)and yes murph is smoking hot

I'm gonna be in Nebraska that week, but I'd almost make the trip back for it!

So we got one more coming to the hunt. My bro is coming up from MO exclusively for treasure hunting. I think we are going to hit Goio's fav. park on the day before. Goio, let me know if you want to get together on the 11th for a little park looting.

This is going to be an awexome weekend.

Hey everybody!
Roots Dad here....I thought the entrance to the camp was on Rt 72, just east of the river?? At least it was 40 yrs ago. I used to go there when I was 12.

Hey, glad to hear you''re coming out. The former entrance to the camp is no longer in service, since this is not an operational camp anymore. I'll pm you with directions to our entrance.

It will be an honor to meet someone who once attended this camp. I often stop and imagine what the place was like 60, 70 years ago. You must have been there at the tail end of its existance. I think it shut down in the sixties. Except for the freakishly odd occasional discovery of a new coin or two out there, every coin we find is silver era.

Hopefully this will bring back some old memories for you!
