Hello fellow treasure hunters. I've been able to get out and enjoy spring lately with a few good keepers. Also was able to score pretty big at the Coinstar too. My detecting spot was a swim beach from the 1920s to the 1940s. Spent 7 hours in 2 days here. Someone has cherry picked the high tones but left a ton of wheats, 1925 Buffalo, a few old nickels and some silvers. Also the usual spoons, keys, knife, lipstick and harmonica reed. I used the 6 inch coil on the nox to get into harder to reach brush and it payed off. Quite a bit of ground yet to cover. Ths spot was undetectable with my Ace 250 due to EMI from radio towers, but the nox had no problem. Had to drop the sensitivity to 18 at the lowest. It clearly was a spot meant to spend an afternoon and have a good time with family and friends. Now it's overgrown and mostly forgotten. You can see the parking lot, the pavilion and the beach in the old arial pic. Pavilion is gone and parking lot is now a dog park.

- Not much to see from the air today. Bottom of pic you can see the towers. They are very tall.

-The finds. What do you think of my display board? It's a piece of D&D terrain.

-Wheats. Oldest is 1914. Next to it a 1919 S in pretty good shape.

- Walgreens 1932 Prosperity Token. Buffalo nickel and play money with an Indian on it. Don't know what the spoked wheel thing is.

- The silvers. The cross pendant came out of the same hole in 3 pieces. I dont believe I broke it. It was at the base of a hill next to the mercury dime and 1914 wheat. Im guessing an eager kid took a spill on the way to the water.

- Coinstar Haul 1950s to 1970s. Mostly forign coins from Europe, Africa and Asia . 2 top center coins have silver content. 1/2 Franc and 25 ore. My best cornstar grab to date. Did someone cash in their grandparents travel change by mistake?
