Shannon and I went to the big barn after lunch today with high expectations. We decided to skip the house area and go straight for the barn. Nothing. Nodda. Not one keeper there. So we headed to another site on the other side of the farm that once had a house on it. Not much there either. Some buckles, green river cap, and some sort of round washer looking thing. Our daylight was running out fast and feeling a bit disappointed at our failure to find anything exciting we quickly made to the old house and after a very few minutes I found my first Indian Nickel! 1925. Shannon and I will be going back to that old house soon! ;D
Here was our scenery for today! Hope you all had a great day!

Nice finds

wow a 25 my first one was a 36 about two weeks ago. Looks like it's going to be a good year.

Congratulations on your first Indian Head Nickel! I know I was excited finding my first. Haven't found that many of those since I try to avoid pull tabs. :-[

And Free...couldn't you just see me driving around on that dozer scraping off that dirt! :D I have a feeling that I might have to bring some wrenches and a bit of diesel to get that thing started! :D ....that poor man already thinks I'm nuts! :D

Leon...I don't know what the metal is.....but the little flap thing in the middle still moves!

Thank you DH! Yes...I have an MXT.....and I really like it! ;)
